Membership conditions
In order to train with us, you need to be a member of the sport association Friskis&Svettis Täby. Friskis&Svettis is a non profit membership association connected to the Swedish Sports Confederation (RIF). Upon choosing to be a member and purchasing a training card, or extending the validity of your membership and training card, you also choose to accept and follow the membership conditions.
The membership fee is 100 krona per calender year and is paid separately from the training card
Your membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Establish your membership in one of our receptions or here.
Personal training card
Your training card is personal and applies in both of our training locales. To lend your membership or training card to another person is not allowed and can lead to a one month suspension.
You are insured!
There is an accident insurance with the insurance company Svedea. It covers your training and transport to and from Friskis&Svettis training. More information can be found here.
Card transfer
You may transfer your card to another person for an administration fee of 100 krona.
Cooling off period/Refunding
We have a two week purchase cooling off/refunding period from the day you bought your training card. The membership fee for the current year however, will not be refunded.
Lost or stolen training card
If you lost your training card, we can replace it for an administration fee of 100 krona. If your card has been stolen, we can issue you a new one upon presentation of a police report. Welcome to the reception to get it fixed!
Register your card in the reception
Always have your training card with you to the training locality. To attend a training session or work out in the gym, you need to register by logging in at the training locality by swiping your card in one of the card readers.
Training responsiblity
You are held personally responsible for your training, and it is done at your own risk. This also applies to storage of personal property during training. You can borrow or buy a padlock at the reception. Forgotten property is saved for two weeks before it is given away or disposed of.
Schedule changes and reduced open hours
Schedule changes occur throughout the year. During national holidays and during the summer, the schedule and open hours are somewhat reduced compared to the ordinary spring and fall seasons. At times, we also need to close a training locality temporarily for maintenance and renovation. Training that has been missed for these reasons will not be repaid. Furthermore, Friskis&Svettis Täby is not responsible for obstacles or limits to training caused by circumstances outside of our control.
Causes for suspension
Friskis&Svettis Täby strives to preserve a welcoming, tolerant and enjoyable training setting. Inappropriate conduct such as aggressive behavior, threats to other members or the staff, theft and doping can be cause for suspension. The association has zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs.
Friskis&Svettis´ antidoping policy
Friskis&Svettis is against all forms of doping. As a sports association and member of the Swedish Sports Confederation (RIF), we follow the regulations that apply for all sports associations. Read more about our doping policy here.
Freeze a training card
In certain situations, you have the possibility of freezing your training card and in this way, extending its validity for up to 12 months. If you are paying for your training card via autogiro, your payments will be frozen during the period when you can´t train. In order to freeze your card, one of the following citeria must be met:
Consent for minors
If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a certificate with your guardian´s consent to become a member. The certificate must clearly specify that your guardian approves that you register as a member and purchase a training card for Friskis&Svettis Täby.

Photography policy
Feel free to photograph yourself and your training at our training locales. On the other hand, you may not photograph others without their permission. It is forbidden to take pictures in the changing room. Read more about our photography policy here.
Annual meeting
Once a year we have an annual meeting. Motions should be sent to info@taby.friskissvettis.se five weeks before the annual meeting, at the latest. Our annual meetings are held during the spring, and the date and time are stipulated on the website and in our training locales.
